Mindfulness & Spirituality:
3 Great Loves -- Love of Neighbor
Prayer is important in the life of our church. It grounds us and reminds us that we are dependent on the healing, loving, challenging, and comforting presence of the Sacred, beyond words or names but who indwells the world with life.
At St. Luke's, we pray for each other during worship, naming our joys and concerns and lifting them up to God. On the Fifth Sunday of the month, we offer a special service of Healing Prayer as part of our regular Sunday morning worship. During that time, you are invited to come forward as you feel led for the ancient practice of anointing with oil and prayers for healing.
Each month church members and the community come together for a time of Mindfulness Prayer & Reflection. It is a time of prayer, reflection and guided mindfulness meditations--as well as fellowship and conversation. All are welcome to join in on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6 PM at Panera Bread on Street Road, Bensalem.
